First released in 1984 by Elmer T. Lee, this bourbon pays tribute to the former distillery president Colonel Albert B. Blanton. The world's first single-barrel bourbon. Blanton's Gold Edition is the second version, following the Original 93 proof. It comes in at 103 proof and is very limited, yet it's popular with serious bourbon drinkers. The golden-hued bourbon offers a rich taste profile with creamy sweetness, notes of spice, and an oak background. It's smooth and delicate, making it fit for both beginners and experts, as well as any occasion, be it solemn or festive.
